Happy Birthday

This is a birthday card I made for someone near and dear.
We have several birthday's in February in our family.
(This close to Christmas it makes the budget tight but well worth it.)  3 Birthday's a week apart.

I think she'll like the "butterfly sticker" on her cheek.

Christmas Glitter Ornament Card

This was also a new technique to me.

Using clear packing tape, glitter, a favorite paper and ribbon.

This is also a card that can take on all different looks depending on the paper used.  I ran out of time this year so I plan on making more of them next year with different paper.

I really liked the way this turned out.

2014 Christmas 2

I created these cards using an oval mask I created from a piece of cardstock.
Using this technique will enable you to use a variety of stamps to create your scene.

I used a mask  and sponge to create the background.  I then removed the mask and added the trees and such to the interior of the masked area.  The large tree on the side was stamped without the mask and outside of the masked area.  Give a look at your stamps I'm sure you'll find you have some that will work with this technique.

I used Tim Holtz ink pads to stamp and various stamps..

2014 Christmas

I tried a new technique to me called origami folding.  To say I enjoyed it is mild.  I loved making these beautiful and versatile cards.

As you can see I got a little crazy making them but
everyone who received one commented favorably.
If you haven't tried this it's an easy way to
create mass cards and each has a different look.

Baby Boy

I created this to welcome Elijah Aero Thomas to our world.

Fussy Cuts

These are cards I made a year ago and have never posted .  I thought I'd go ahead and show you 2 cards I made in a local Scrapboook/Card store. (Sadly this store is no longer open.).
This was my first attempt using "Tombow" markers and fussy cutting.  Please keep that in mind before you judge them.  LOL

Yes, the paper dolls were cut out as a string.  You really have to have your patience up to fussy cut.
The stamped images were provided to us and they are created by Gorjuss.

Ike's Sketch Challenge

A Sketch Over at Ike’s World challenge
Good morning it is time for a new Ike's World challenge

This week’s theme is A SKETCH

I used the "Saucy Fairy".  A beautiful digi of Ike's with many uses.
This is what I did with it for this challenge.

The beautiful satin pink heart ribbon is from Art Expressions.  If you click on the image you'll also see pink glitter on the wings, red stickles on the skirt, white stickles on the flounce and small heart sprinkles that I picked up in the dollar bin at Michael's.  The 3 foam hearts at the base of the image were part of a great purchase I made when I bought a bag full of different types and colors  from Oriental Trading.

We'd love to see what you cam do with this sketch and have a chance to win the challenge.
So come visit over to Ike's World challenge   and see all the other wonderful DT creations and see the prize on offer.
Hope to see you there.
... You may enter up to 3 times and remember - if you use an IKEs ART digis, we will enter you in the Draw twice.
