The
new theme for Ike's World Challenge #32
is
" Paper Piecing"
I
used the "Hatter". A great digi of Ike's that I immediately
thought how it would work with paper piecing.
Having been working on Valentine cards my brain said this would make a
great leprechaun. Then I set about
making him green.
This
is what I did with it for challenge #32
(Don't

I
used a main Christmas green colored cardstock from Recollection (It can be
purchased from Michael’s). The following items were pieced. The pants, jacket and hat from green. The hat band and bow from white (I used a
small foam piece to attach the bow and give the card more dimension.) I completed it with a gold and then green
mat. The main card was created with
green and I used a St. Patrick’s themed paper for the mat on the main card.
All
in all I think he turned from the “Hatter” to Leprechaun just by the use of
color fairly well.
We'd
love to see what you can do to make us have a good laugh and have a chance to
win the challenge.
So

Hope to see you there.
