Pearly Spaarkles March Inspiration

A new month is starting so it's time to play a challenge with
"Pearly Sparkles"
This month's theme is flowers.  A variety of ideas!
I chose to use some beautiful cherry blossoms after a favorite flower discussion.

I kept it very simple and easy to mail in case I decide on the perfect occasions.
Please join in this challenge and show us your flower card.

Be sure to leave me some love.  I enjoy hearing what you think.

Back in Ike's World

It's time for "Challenge #83"
This will run from Feb 28 - Mar 14
Anything goes with an optional "focal sentiment"

I once again use one of her beautiful "Butterflies"
We have flowers blooming here in Florida and it's feeling like Spring.

I decided to use my new Prisma pencils this time.   I've been waiting to give them a go since I bought them.
The tulips were embossed and fussy cut then colored.  I debated coloring the bakground and the trial one I did made that look less airy so I opted for just the tulips.  The butterfly was also colored with pencils.

We'd love to have you join us in this challenge.  Color your beautiful Ike's image and join us.

Please leave me some love so  know you visited.

Aud's Sentiment Challenge #174 Inspiration

#174
Feb 23- March 6
Theme: Animals + A Sentiment

Our sponsor was Ike from Ike's World
I chose an image entitled "Bop U"
This image reminded me of the differences we have as friends
and still find reasons to care and be there for each other.
This is dedicated to my closest friends.

I hope you like it.  I think it's very emotional even if it is simplistic.

Recipe Card:
Papers from The Paper Shelter and Re'collections
Prisma pencils
Copics:
Dog - 100, W7, W5
Collar - R49, R59
Cat - B000

Please leave some love if you like it.  I always like to know when someone visits.
Until next time ~AngeL Hugs~

Happy 13th Birthday!!

My one and only granddaughter turned 13 over the weekend!!
I wanted to create her something special and after much contemplation
I decided that a grown up "Dress Card" would be perfect.

I thought it would be fun to use the term "Teen Years" instead of 13.
It's a special time in a young lady's life.
I hope she enjoyed the card as much as I did making it for her.

Aud's Sentiments Challenge #173

Challenge will run Feb 9-20
Theme: Valentines/Love Sentiment

I chose to create a design that just wanted to come out of my mind.
Out it came and this is the result

I used a Darice Embossing Folder for the background added my Red and White heart punch
The "ribbon" effect is created with a scrap of red paper and a Martha Stewart Punch out.
I've had the metal heart for well over 15 years so don't even think about asking where it came from...IDKS
The Happy Valentine Day stamp was one I got out of the JoAnn $1 bin + stamped in red and embossed.
I hope you like it and will come up with something simple yet elegant on your own.  This is merely an idea of what can happen when you open up that pandora's box.  Love to see yours.

Please leave me some love letting me know if you like my creations.  It's always wonderful to hear.
Til the next challenge:  ~AngeL Hugs

Valentine 2017

Valentine

Triple Heart Card

This was a fun and easy card.

Recipe Card:
One paper heart doily
2 different print hearts
a small looped white
and a red circle with a pink and red heart in two sizes.
The sentiment was a freebie from one of my magazine's.
The inside has a red embossed "Happy Valentine's" Stamp

Inspirational card for Challenge #82

This week I created an inspirational card for Challenge #82
Anything Goes With an optional twist Nature
For my twist I used the beautiful Floral Wreath image.
You can find her images at:

This is one of my versions of it and I'm sure
I'll be using again since I have other ideas for it in mind.

Recipe Card:
Double side purple cardstock from stash
Dark side on outside of card
Re'collections Coordinations
Light (other side) of purple card
X-press it for Copics
Copics in BV000, BV02 and BV13

At first the number of petals intimidated me then
I just started with a small section at a time and before I knew
it the wreath was completed.  I'd like to urge you take on some of these projects by just working in small sections at a time.

Other Valentine's

These are other Valentine's I made to mail out:

The pop-up card was from Bird's Designs
and the Rose cut out was one of my Silhouette files.
