Mother's Day 2016

Anna Griffin Die-Cuts

inside

My Sister is going to be a first time Grandma and I thought this was appropriate.
The gold foiled die-cuts give an elegant feel.
Anna Griffin is available though HSN.

Happy Mother's Day My Rose

When my daughter was a little bit younger she look just like Kate Winslet's
Rose from Titanic.  So mush so she was offered a position at the
permanent display in Orlando.  Our favorite outfit was the one "Rose" wore when "Jack" first saw her.  Those were the colors I used for the card.  This is a line art from ADFD.

I hope you love her as much as we do.

Ike's Challenge #35 "Things with Wing's"

This was the art of Ike that I chose to use for this challenge.
Set of 4 Shoes

I used Darice's Stage with Curtain Embossing folder.  The background was masked and colored with a sponge using "Tim Holtz" Broken China distress ink.  The beautiful wing shoe was painted with (a very difficult to film) Crystal Sparkle by Scribbles.  I used Copics to color the area where the wing attached to the shoe.
I'll be using this for a Mother's Day card.

Please join us and bring your wonderful artwork out of your mind and into the world.

Sister-in-law Mother's Card

Once again I did a paper tole look and sprayed my lace with Jade Walnut spray.

Sister's Mother Card

Flower Soft and Sakura gel pen.

The gate is made using a double punched fence punch from Martha Stewart.  I attached it using  1/8" ribbon so it would open.  The flower "hills" are attached using foam stickers giving the appearance of depth.  I included a little lane leading to the "rose garden".  I used 3 layers of the rose to give a paper tole effect.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day
2011
I used Flower Soft on the tree.  It made a perfect spring flowering tree.  If you haven't tried this product yet it's a must try.
