My Sister is going to be a first time Grandma and I thought this was appropriate.
The gold foiled die-cuts give an elegant feel.

I cut the embossed tulips and 

fit the windmill into the watercolor paper.

I wanted to try something different so, I colored this card on acetate.

Not an easy task and not sure I'd try this technique again but I did learn a lot from it.

I used Copics and Spica (the eyeshadow).

The heart was a die cut from Silhouette.

#58 Lucky Me    (St Pat’s Day 17th)

using " Gent's Hat"

I used a parchment base card, a green plaid for the hat, the hearts on the clover and 2nd layer.  The 3rd layer is a light green parchment.  I paper pieced the top hat and used a gold pen around the edges of the hat and plaid layer.  I used a small glitter clover in place of a feather.

Christmas Time Birthday

My beautiful daughter's birthday is on December 28th.  When she was (finally) born I made a promise never to celebrate her birthday on Christmas.  She gets 2 celebrations at Christmas time.

This is the card I created for her this year.  (Age not mentioned haha)

I used a Silhouette cut out and free paper I got from one of  my magazines for the background.

To spruce it up I used jewels along the outside edge of the "frosting" and centers of the peppermints.

A New Year's Wish

This is a card that came to me as I was making it.  I had a general idea but, well here it is.  Please leave some kind comments??

I used an image from "Faery Ink"  

There is a great deal more glitter to this card then the camera picked up.  The snowflakes, feathers, hatband, fur and the hands on the clock all are glittered.

I used Copics, Spica glitter markers and Stickles.

Wedding Card

My Nephew married his beautiful wife and they wanted a handmade card from me.

There colors were gold and turquoise.  I kept my card gold an white.  I had purchased some beautiful papers just for this event.  I used a gold foil and a creme color with gold foil flourishes in the paper.  This was the result.

For the car I used my Prismacolor pencils on the car. 
I used toothpicks to create the flags.
I added a cut piece to the bottom to create the look of grass.

My husband will be retiring (not soon enough) and
I thought this would make a great card for the occasion,
